BESPOKE DESIGN REQUIREMENTS AT HMP KINGSTON

GAME Engineering was contacted by HMP Kingston directly to manufacture and install three large wing screens measuring 8m x 4.5m after working with them in 2009 on other projects.

The three screens were built on-site at GAME, taking on board the specific design requirements which meant designing the screens around the existing Victorian handrails. A predicament you face when you’re working with a Victorian listed building dating back to 1877. GAME were happy to accommodate these requirements, as were the workshop team who had an array of unusual powder coating finishes to apply ranging from Lakeland Green to Peach.

The screens were installed in a ‘live’ wing and with minimum welding, taking only 3 weeks to complete. GAME always endeavour to offer a personalised service to its clients, whether it’s the small details of colour options or reducing the disruption to the client and its business through working hours and working methods.

GAME completed this project on time, within budget and met all of the client’s requirements.
